FPPS was incorporated in 2004 to take advantage of an opportunity in a supply requirement for dry-type transformers from a leading global manufacturer of uninterrupted power supply (UPS) devices. Its manufacturing plant is located in Cavite and it commenced operations in June 2006. Aside from global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), FPPS also supplies dry-type transformers to domestic commercial and industrial establishments. OEM are "indirectly" exported to Europe, North America and Japan and this comprises 90% of its production.
In Jan. 1, 2012, sales and marketing activities of FPPS were consolidated under a Central Sales and Marketing (CSM) Team in First Philec Manufacturing Technologies Corp. (FPMTC). All sales-related transactions are now being coursed through FPMTC.
FPPS operates on a lean, but multi-functional organization. The company has developed its manufacturing facilities through innovations from the combined skills of the people involved, technology from a sister companies and imported testing machines to certify the products' quality.
The products' quality certification is in compliance with the international standards set by American National Standard Institute/Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (ANSI/IEEE) and National Electric Manufacturers Association (NEMA) with Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) recognized insulation system.
Its manufacturing facility is located in an Export Processing Zone in Rosario, Cavite.
