In 1991, First Electro Dynamics Corporation (FEDCOR) was established primarily to support Meralco’s distribution transformer repair requirements. Since then, FEDCOR has developed its capability to repair power transformers up to 15 MVA, special line equipment, and automatic voltage regulators (AVRs) among others. Fedcor has strategically positioned itself to build on its competence of providing repair and technical services for transformers, and transformer-related products. Fedcor is actively pursuing possible tie-ups with foreign companies to provide sophisticated and advanced T&D technical services to the local industry.

In Jan. 1, 2012, sales and marketing activities of FEDCOR were consolidated under a Central Sales and Marketing (CSM) Team in First Philec Manufacturing Technologies Corp. (FPMTC). All sales-related transactions should now be coursed through FPMTC.

FEDCOR is an Integrated Management System certified company. It is also familiarizing itself with Six Sigma practices to improve overall operations and cost management for the company. Fedcor was recently award Investors in People status.

Its facilities are located in First Philippine Industrial Park in Santo Tomas, Batangas.
