First Philec Nexolon Corporation (FPNC) is a joint venture (JV) between First PV Ventures Corporation (First PV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Philippine Electric Corporation (First Philec) and Nexolon Co., Ltd (Nexolon), the largest solar wafer company in Korea for the purpose of establishing an initial 400-megawatt (MW) solar wafer-slicing plant in the Philippines.

FPNC is the latest addition to First Philec’s investments in the photovoltaic or solar industry.  Like its sister company FPSC, it has capabilities to slice  for both the monocrystalline and multicrytalline segment.

The inauguration of the newly constructed FPNC plant and office was held last December 8, 2011.
